Meet the Assistant Principal

Mrs. Julie White

My name is Julie White and I am excited to serve as the Assistant Principal at the newest elementary school in our district, Piney Woods Elementary School. This will be my 15th year working in District 5. During my time in District 5, I have had the privilege of working at Dutch Fork Elementary, Chapin Elementary, Leaphart Elementary, and Lake Murray Elementary School. This will be my 5th year as an administrator in our district. I graduated from Newberry College with a Bachelors in Elementary Education and received a Masters in Educational Administration from the University of South Carolina. My husband, Jason, and I have two children, Justin and Sara. Justin will be a senior in college this year and Sara will be a senior in high school. Both of my children have been a part of School District Five since they started school! We also have 3 silly dogs that we consider our children as well!    I am looking forward to a great school year and working with the finest administrators, teachers, students, and parents this district has to offer.
