Hey everyone! My name is Jennifer Lusk and I am a 2nd grade teacher at Piney Woods Elementary. This is my 21st year of teaching, and all 21 years have been in District 5. I have taught first and second grade, but second grade is my absolute favorite grade to teach! Teaching is a huge passion of mine and I truly believe that learning is a journey, not a destination. As an educator, I have a passion to inspire our students to become life-long learners and leaders. When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family. My amazing husband is Jason, and I have 2 children--Hanna is 13 and Jackson is 10. We love going to the beach, hanging out on Lake Murray, going for family walks, and cheering on the Carolina Gamecocks! We also have a 4 year old black lab, named Scout, who is so much fun to play with! I can not wait for an exciting year learning and growing together!
Becca Magni
Hi everyone! My name is Becca Magni and this will be my 11th year of teaching. I have taught first and second grades. Teaching children has always been my passion and I look forward to working with you and your child this year. I have a wonderful husband named Josh, a precious yorkie-poo named Ellie, and an adorable four year old named Caroline. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, hanging out on the lake, walking my dog, crafting, and cheering on the Gamecocks. I absolutely love teaching 2nd grade at Piney Woods! Purple Martin Pride! :)

I am so excited to be teaching at PWES this year! I grew up in downtown Columbia and attended the University of South Carolina. I have a bachelors in Elementary Education. During my free time I love spending time outside. On the weekend you can find me on the lake with my husband and two daughters boating and swimming. I am looking forward to a great new year!

This is my 17th year teaching. I have a Bachelor's in Early Childhood from Columbia College and a Master's degree in Language and Literacy from USC. I am National Board Certified in Early Childhood and have my Reading Teacher certificate. My husband Rob and I live in Chapin with our two children Lily and Graham.
