This will be my fourth year teaching. I have previously taught second and fourth grade. I was born and raised in Oklahoma City, OK and moved to South Carolina to attend Furman University in 2015. I graduated with a degree in Sociology and Elementary Education Teaching Certification. I am so excited about being at Piney Woods Elementary.

Hello!
I am so excited about this year in third grade and all the wonderful moments we will have together as a classroom community. I have a passion for creating a safe and inviting learning environment that encourages growth in all students. This is my 10th year in education and second year in third grade at Piney Woods. I was born and raised in Ohio and my family moved to Chapin in 2021. I have been married to my husband Derrik for seven years and we have two little boys. Emmitt is in third grade and Bo is in first grade. They are lucky enough to be Purple Martins too! In my spare time I love traveling and everything Disney.
