Brooke Bridges

Welcome to Kindergarten!  I am Mrs. Bridges.  It is my desire to nurture your child's curiosity for learning and maximize their growth socially, emotionally, and intellectually.

After teaching 2nd grade for 3 years, I made the move to first grade.  I taught 3 years of first grade before making my final transition to kindergarten.  Kindergarten is my home and passion, and I couldn't be more thrilled than to have your child!  I am Early Childhood and Elementary Education certified.  I have a masters degree in Divergent Learning, and am National Board Certified as an Early Childhood Specialist.  I have my Reading Endorsement, which means I am trained to meet 'read to succeed' requirements, and have been Columbia Area Reading Council's Distinguished Teacher of Reading.  I was 2018-2019 Teacher of the Year!

My husband Chad, is a soccer coach and teacher in district five, and we have three beautiful children.  Brayden-my ball of energy, Brooklyn-my dancing princess, and Brynlee-our cheerleading loving baby girl.  My mother was a kindergarten teacher for 36 years, and my little sister teaches third grade in Horry County.  In our family, teaching is a passion, not a profession.

Thank you for the opportunity to teach your child!  Enjoy the year and hold onto every accomplishment, it will be over in a blink!

Catherine Paul

Hello! My name is Catherine Paul and I am so excited to be here this year! I love kindergarten because you really get to see a transformation from the beginning of the year to the end of the year! This will be my 8th year of teaching Kindergarten. I received my education at the University of South Carolina! Go cocks!  I have my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education.

When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends! My husband and I welcomed our first child into our family in 2022 and are so enjoying watching her grow up. My family is originally from Chicago, IL, but we relocated to Fort Mill, SC in 2010. I am one of five children so I come from a big and busy home. I have 4 nieces and 2 nephews and I LOVE the aunt life!! My husband and I are both teachers and come from a line of educators.  I love to spend time on Lake Murray and the beach. Reading is my favorite hobby and pink is my favorite color.

I am looking forward to spending the year with your child! If you need anything please do not hesitate to reach out to me!

Degrees and Certifications:

When I am not enjoying work, I like to spend time with my family, cook, sew, and read a good book.
