Welcome to Music!  I am excited about being your teacher this year.  My name is Jerri Coleman and this is my 3rd year in District 5.  I previously taught elementary music for 10 years in Horry County, SC.  I have a BA in Music Education and a Masters of Education in Technology.  I love to sing, dance, play instruments, and have fun!  I am married and have 4 children.  My family lives in Chapin and we enjoy being out on the lake, going camping, playing board games, and hanging out together watching Gamecocks football.  I would love to connect with you via email.  You can reach me jfcoleman@lexrich5.org

My name is Brian Mincel and this is my 16th year as a Physical Education teacher! I am so excited to be here at Piney Woods Elementary School! This website will serve to link what the children do in the gymnasium, with their lives outside of school. I am looking forward to engaging your children in units of activity that will cover the S.C. Physical Education Standards. It is my goal to create movement activities that will not only increase sport skills, but supply all students age appropriate opportunities to increase muscular strength and endurance. I will be emphasizing the importance of developing healthy bodies by living out healthy lifestyles. In my spare time I like to run, work out and I am an assistant coach of the Boys and Girls Cross Country at Dutch Fork High School. The rest of my time I enjoy spending with my family!  My wife, Jen and our 3 amazing children, Nicholas (16), Madison (14) and Brooke (5). . Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns regarding the program. I would love to hear from you!!
